Federer finally ended all the speculation of his decline and showed the media that he wasn't giving up just yet by defeating Murray in flawless straight sets. Federer is the first tennis player in history to have won 5 consecutive Wimbledon and U.S Open titles. Federer now chases Pete Sampras's record of 14 grand slam titles.
